Environment, charities and collaborations
Environment
We are trying to make our operation as sustainable as possible. Here's how:
- Our distillery and shop are run on 100% renewable power with Good Energy, a British renewable electricity company.
- Our copper still runs on this renewable energy too - rather than gas power.
- All our products and packaging are now 100% plastic free.
- We recycle 100% of our cardboard waste, 100% of our glass waste (including providing used bottles to upcycling crafts people) and 100% of our recyclable plastic waste.
- We make all our local deliveries in our electric vehicle.
- We encourage customers to re-use their old bottles.
- We work with local York company PurePallets that re-use discarded wood for our shop fittings and gifts.
